Brighton & Hove Community Transport provides accessible, safe and affordable transport to community groups, voluntary sector organisations and individuals with mobility difficulties.
Please note due to the Coronavirus our normal shopping services and special trips have been put on hold until social distancing measures are lifted, and instead we are running a food delivery service to bring food to you.
Our new service is for anyone who is self-isolating and cannot easily access food and provisions. You do not need to be an existing member and you do not need to be elderly or disabled. The service is for everyone in the Brighton & Hove area who for whatever reason can’t easily access basic essentials and we are delighted to be working with local independent grocer Dubleaus to provide you with good quality fresh food at affordable prices.
We have split the city up into five zones, and each zone has two deliveries per week:
Zone 1: Hove, Hangleton, Portslade & Mile Oak; delivered on Tuesdays & Fridays
Zone 2: City Centre, Preston Park, Westdene, Patcham & Hollingbury: delivered on Wednesdays & Fridays
Zone 3: Lewes Rd, Hollingdean, Coldean, Moulsecoomb & Bevendean: delivered on Mondays & Wednesdays
Zone 4: Hanover, Queens Park, Kemptown & Whitehawk: delivered on Tuesdays & Thursdays
Zone 5: Saldean, Rottingdean, Woodingdean & Ovingdean; delivered on Mondays & Thursdays
Transport service to different shopping destinations each month, usually outside Brighton and Hove, such as Tunbridge Wells, Horsham and Eastbourne, as well as garden centres. Great for a change of scene!
Transport service to a variety of different eateries in Sussex. It is a chance to catch up with friends and make new ones over a reasonably priced meal, out and about in Sussex.
Some of you have said that you like our lunch club, but sometimes don’t always like to be out all day. For this reason we introduced – once a month from the East side and West side – an afternoon tea trip.
Provides a door-to-door transport service to the cinema with accessibility in mind. Have a great day out and make new friends!
